Alison Brooks, “Model Building Model: Making Oxford’s New Collegiate Architecture”
Alison Brooks has recently completed Oxford’s newest academic building, the Cohen Quadrangle for Exeter College. She will discuss this project and her design methodology that transforms archetypal social, pedagogical and architectural ‘models’ into new tectonic and spatial paradigms. Her current installation at the 2018 Venice Architecture Biennale distills this practice as a sensorial model of her built work.
