Esther Chong Weathers (she/her) serves as the Associate Director of Community, Impact, and Opportunity at the Harvard Graduate School of Design. Esther joined the inaugural Office in 2020 as part of the Harvard Administrative Fellows Program (AFP). In her role, she is responsible for developing strategies and programming to promote dialogue and embrace community values across difference for all GSD stakeholders.

A higher education specialist, Esther has dedicated her career to directly addressing the barriers faced by historically marginalized communities through her work in college admissions and higher education administration. She holds an Ed.M. in Higher Education from the Harvard Graduate School of Education, where she focused on social change leadership, educational inequality, and intentional inclusion.
