The Paul M. Heffernan International Travel Award funds GSD students who want to travel internationally to focus on professional development related to their academic pursuits. Students may apply for travel funding related to thesis work, professional development, and research that supports future career goals.
This fund only covers international travel expenses such as airfare, train fare, and accommodations. Students can request up to $1,000 USD.
Please note that while students can apply more than once, no student will be awarded more than one time while at the GSD.
Students are strongly encouraged to seek additional funding at Harvard to support living and other expenses during their travel. Please refer to CARAT for additional funding resources.
