Christian Veddeler

Christian Veddeler is a Director and Senior Architect at UNStudio. Alongside his role in UNStudio’s Board of Directors, he is leading several international projects

Together with Ben van Berkel, Christian is in charge of FOUR Frankfurt, a multi tower mixed used project, recently awarded first prizes both in the urban and the architectural competition.

Previously he has been leading projects as the Campus for the Singapore University of Technology and Design, the K4 office section of Arnhem Central Station Masterplan and a series of pavilion projects, such as the Holiday Home at UPenn's ICA, the Changing Room for the Venice Biennale,the Burnham Pavilion in Chicago, the New Amsterdam Pavilion in New York City and the Motion Matters Series at Harvard GSD, Aedes Berlin and the Maxxi in Rome.

His extensive involvement in academia includes numerous teaching assignments and visiting professorships amongst others at Harvard University, TU Delft, the AA Visiting School and Städelschule Architecture Class in Frankfurt, Germany.

Christian is a frequent speaker and lectured at the GSD, MIT, University of Illinois in Chicago, DAM Deutsches Architektur Museum, Frankfurt and the Acadia Conference.

Christian Veddeler is a registered architect in the Netherlands and has received a Master of Science with Honours degree in Architecture from the Delft University of Technology.
