Oskar Haushofer (MArch ’27) has been named one of three recipients of this year’s Kohn Pedersen Fox (KPF) Traveling Fellowship. Awarded to students in their penultimate year at one of 27 partner design schools, the $10,000 fellowship supports a summer of travel-based architectural research that broadens students’ education ahead of graduation.Â

With support from the fellowship, Haushofer will travel from Paris to Algiers to study the work of Fernand Pouillon. His research examines how large-scale architecture can address today’s housing crisis without sacrificing character or ambition.
