The Practicum is a Summer-term two-month field course that places MRE students within a United States or international real estate organization to participate in an ongoing real estate project that advances beneficial social and environmental outcomes. The MRE program arranges placements based on the interests of each student and each Practicum organization. Students take the Practicum Prep Seminar led by MRE faculty during Fall and Spring terms at the GSD. During the summer Practicum, students are guided by an employee of the Practicum organization and meet remotely from time to time with Practicum faculty. Students return to the GSD for several days at the end of the Summer term during which they discuss and compare their Practicum experiences.
