Alumni

The Harvard Alumni Real Estate Board (HAREB) is an invitation-only group of Harvard University alumni engaged in real estate practice. HAREB meets twice a year on campus, providing Board members an opportunity to talk with other members, hear from prominent Harvard faculty members, and meet with students.

The Board schedules an active calendar of hands-on training and experiential learning opportunities for Harvard’s real estate student cohort. It provides support for real estate modeling and valuation profession training, organizes treks to United States cities to meet with senior leaders of real estate companies, and provides opportunities for one-on-one mentoring with Board members. HAREB holds an annual mentoring breakfast. Students can designate specific HAREB members with whom they wish to be matched in small group mentoring sessions. Mentors are usually receptive to continuing the relationship beyond the initial breakfast meeting.

The Harvard Real Estate Alumni Organization (HREAO) is another Harvard alumni group that sponsors quarterly informal receptions for Harvard real estate alumni in gateway cities across the United States, Asia, and Europe. The mission of the organization is to provide Harvard alumni with opportunities to enhance their knowledge of the business of real estate and expand their network.
