Each semester, the Graduate School of Design hosts an array of lectures, panel discussions, conferences, film screenings, and performances that are open to the public. The school’s public programs feature theorists, practitioners, public officials, writers, artists, and scholars from around the world. Their aim is to open up dialogue between the many communities that contribute to the fields of architecture, urban planning and design, landscape architecture, and design studies.

Planning a Public Event

Department and program heads collaborate with Public Programs staff to invite guests and organize each program. Faculty and students are encouraged to share ideas for programs with their respective Chairs. Students, staff, and faculty are also invited to submit suggestions using the community submissions form .
