Daniel Dubrowski

Lecturer and Senior Fellow in Real Estate

Daniel Dubrowski is a founding partner of The Lionstone Group. He serves as an Investment Committee member and as the lead principal responsible for TLG’s national Cash Flow Office and US Land investment programs. These programs have together invested in over $1 billion of domestic real estate during the past four years. Prior to forming Lionstone, Mr. Dubrowski was a senior vice president with the international Hines real estate firm. During his 10 years with Hines, he played a pivotal role in many of that firm’s most important initiatives. He was responsible for developing Hines’ business in Mexico and in committing more than $350 million to Mexico-based office, residential, and industrial projects. Mr. Dubrowski led Hines’ first domestic acquisition in 1993 and first international acquisition in 1997.

Mr. Dubrowski is a Trustee of the Houston Grand Opera, a member of the Development Committee to the Board of the Menil Museum, and a board member of the Greater Houston Preservation Alliance. He has served as Senior Lecturer at the Harvard Business School teaching the primary real estate course and continues to be an active part-time speaker and lecturer at that institution. Prior to Hines, Mr. Dubrowski was an auditor and consultant with Arthur Andersen & Co. in New York City. He is a graduate of Georgetown University and received his MBA from Harvard.
