Schedule Overview
The Class Day program recognizes the achievements of the graduating class at the GSD Awards Ceremony. Yvonne Farrell will deliver the Class Day Address. A reception for graduates and their guests follows. Earlier in the day, graduates take class photos and participate in a rehearsal for the next day’s Diploma Ceremony.

On Commencement Day, the University Morning Exercises include addresses by the Harvard President and Conan O’Brien (AB ’85), the University’s Commencement Speaker, as well as the conferral of degrees by the President. Following this, the Graduate School of Design provides lunch for graduates and up to three guests, then holds its own Diploma Ceremony, where the GSD Dean presents diplomas.
